Do you have 5 dogs and a baby? Audio interview with dog trainer Kelly King.

While searching the internet for interesting, fun organizations we could interview, I found this terrific website called 5 Dogs and a Baby. It made sense – we’ve learned from our audio/video interviews with various Animal Rescues all across America that one of the reasons people give up their dog(s) is that they are having a baby.  Poor introduction and unreasonable expectations have let innocent dogs end up in shelters. We want you to have meaningful experiences with your baby and your dog, and many, many cases show us it’s possible to coexist and have fun together.

We had the great pleasure of interviewing Kelly King, Certified Dog Trainer and Teacher of dog classes. She helps families learn how to introduce the baby/child to the dog, and the dog to the child, the proper way. Kelly developed her own way of training to help families live peacefully together. We learned a lot!
