Assisting homeless dog owners in Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown Dog Rescue is a program within the non-profit Friends For Animals organization which assists homeless dog owners in spaying/neutering, vaccinating and licensing their dogs, runs a shelter facility with 30 dogs, and offers a variety of services (including crisis care) for the life of the dog in Los Angeles. Downtown Dog Rescue saves the lives of hundreds of dogs and adopts them out to loving homes – over 3000 dogs have found homes through Downtown Dog Rescue. We interviewed Lori Weise, Founder of Downtown Dog Rescue and we’re excited to share with you her experiences, knowledge and projects in helping dogs and homeless dog owners.
